• You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms and use the App only in compliance with applicable laws.

• We do not require you to create an account to use the App.

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to violate others’ rights.

• Interfere with or disrupt the App or its security features (e.g., introducing malware, attempting to bypass access controls).

• Use automated means (robots, scrapers) to access the App.

• Misrepresent your identity or attempt to collect information about other users.

• Upload or display adult-only content, sexual content, or extreme violence. (DogMatch does not host user-generated content.)

• The App does not provide public posting, commenting, or social feed features.

• Because there are no accounts, sections referring to account suspension/creation are not applicable.

• The App may display third-party advertisements and use third-party SDKs (e.g., Google AdMob/Ad Manager, analytics, crash reporting). Those providers may process limited device/usage data to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and improve services.

• Third-party websites, apps, or services linked from the App are not controlled by us. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

DogMatch provides general information and tools to help explore dog breeds and names. It is not veterinary, behavioral, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions about an animal’s health, welfare, training, or legal requirements.

• We may update, change, or discontinue all or part of the App at any time without notice.

• We do not guarantee the App will be available uninterrupted or error-free.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE) ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED £50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY; IN SUCH CASES, THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FirstGrp and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, the licence granted in Section 2 ends.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. If you continue using the App after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App (subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence).
